Barbara Mack, an award-winning media law professor at Iowa State, will be honored as the 2013 winner of the James W. Schwartz Award for Distinguished Service to Journalism and Communication. A 1974 Iowa State graduate, Mack passed away unexpectedly in August 2012. Christine Romans, a 1993 ISU graduate and current CNN anchor, along with colleagues and former students of Barbara Mack, will honor her memory with personal comments at the event.

The first show, starting at 6:30 pm will be 20 minutes and for kids. Shows at 7 pm and 7:30 pm and are suitable for all ages. Free tickets for the shows will be available at the door starting at 6:15 pm. Seating is limited.
