This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. This month we will focus on words, how we use them and interpret them. Please arrive early for a discussion on the month's topic beginning at 5:15. The practice will begin at 5:30. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat.

ISU Jazz Combos
The leading small jazz groups on campus commence again to feature profile concerts about some of their favorite artists. Learn about who these people are and hear the young musicians delve deeply into tunes that are either written or made famous by these iconic jazzers. This concert also serves as the swan song for two of the more talented jazz saxophonists to grace the stage in over a dozen years.

Museums panel: Navigating a Sea of Change
Emerging museum professionals are entering a field already amidst a sea of change -- technologically, educationally, socially, theoretically, and financially. Graduate students from Western Illinois University's Museum Studies Graduate Program will lead a round table discussion. A Museums Career Panel Discussion, to be held in the Memorial Union, will follow this program and feature several current Iowa museum professionals.
Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
