Training: Boots to Business Entrepreneurship

Boots to Business Reboot is a two-step entrepreneurship training program from the Small Business Administration that provides participants an overview of business ownership as a career vocation. Open to Veterans of all eras, service members (including members of the National Guard and Reserve) and their spouses. This course is instructed by SBA and its partners, who are skilled business advisors. Registration is required.

"Muhammad bin Faisal's Frozen Fantasies of Antarctic Arabia," Michael Christopher Low, assistant professor, history. By retelling the story of the "water prince," this lecture will remember one of the more colorful episodes in Iowa State's history and explore the tangled histories of oil, desalination, and climate change and adaptation in the Arabian Peninsula. This lecture is held in conjunction with the ReACT Gallery exhibition exploring water.
