Events are recorded for broadcast on NPR affiliate Siouxland Public Media, Sioux City, Iowa, where she is the arts producer and afternoon announcer. Planned as part of the First Amendment Days celebration.

Ribbon cutting: Forker Building
Celebrate the completion of $7.4 million in renovations to the Forker Building, including new labs, offices and student spaces. Remarks will be given at 3 p.m. inside the building's west entrance by Department of Kinesiology Chair Philip Martin, College of Human Sciences Dean Laura Dunn Jolly, and President Wendy Wintersteen.

Clark Ford, associate professor of food science and human nutrition, is retiring. A program will begin at 4 p.m.

The Fashion Show
The Fashion Show 2017 is in its 36th year, and is one of the largest student-run fashion shows in the nation. The show features student-designed garments both on the runway and in mounted exhibitions. This year's theme is "Resilience," with guest designers from the Patagonia company.
