Paint Your Own Pottery: Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skulls
Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday for celebrating those who have passed. Drawings of Sugar Skulls often include flowers, dots, linear patterns, and other fun elements that can transfer beautifully onto pottery. We will have pattern ideas as well as bisque with pre-printed designs for coloring in. Pick yours up in time for Dia de los Muertos October 31-November 2.

Homecoming: Cyclone Central Tailgate
Cyclones everywhere are invited to celebrate at the Alumni Center before every home football game. Enjoy giveaways, shopping, refreshments, marching band performances, Cy and spirit squad appearances, and entertainment for all ages. Doors open 3 hours prior to kick-off and end 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Catered meal available for an additional charge.

Concert: Bells of Iowa State
"Bells of Iowa State" gala anniversary concert, celebrating the 120th anniversary of the Stanton Memorial Carillon, the 65th anniversary of the Stanton Memorial Carillon Foundation, and the 50th birthday of Stephens Auditorium. The campanile-carillon model will be unveiled and dedicated.
Argentine Tango Lessons
Valerie Williams This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with different partners for practice. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
