Make Masks & Puppets for the All Species Parade
Ames' second annual All Species One Earth Parade will be held downtown on Saturday, April 23. Animal masks, costumes and puppets are encouraged, and The Workspace can help.
Musical: The Secret Garden
Mary Lennox's her parents die in a cholera epidemic and she is sent to live in Yorkshire with relatives she has never met. She is unhappy with everything about her. Then, shortly after she arrives, she notices a vine covered wall which surrounds a secret garden. A bird helps her find the key to the door and the next day she discovers the door itself hidden behind the overgrowth. She pushes open the door and her life begins to change.

Online Course: Web Accessibility MOOC for Educators

"ISU Carillon Keeps Up with the Times," Richard Watson, founder of Meeks, Watson and Co., Georgetown, Ohio. Watson will talk about bell-making, tuning, hanging and recording. Watson led the 1992-94 renovation of the carillon. The lecture is sponsored by the Stanton Memorial Carillon Foundation.

Seminar: Future Directions for Game Based Learning at Iowa State
In this session, a showcase of the newly developed Game Based Learning (GBL) module will be presented. Additional feedback from participants will be gathered to improve the current module. A discussion will be led to talk about the future of the learning community. Strategies of how to expand the current community and suggested topics will also be discussed.
