Conference: Sustainable Agriculture Education Association
17 Jul 2009, 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM @ Scheman Building and campus locations - "Facilitating Sustainable Agriculture Education." Learn about key issues of the sustainable agriculture education research and practice community. An open exchange of information among students, faculty, staff, administrators, student farm managers, farmers, non-profits, community organizers and others. Cost: $75-$350 early; or $115-$400 after July 1.
Tour: ISU's Virtual Reality Experience
17 Jul 2009, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ auditorium, Howe Hall - Tour includes a 15-minute presentation and demos of various virtual reality software. These tours are open to the public, but online preregistration is required. Seating is limited to 260. Appropriate for elementary ages through adults. Cost: free.
