"Science and Children: A Natural Fit," Karen Worth, instructor and project director at Wheelock College, Boston, Mass. She will discuss ways that teachers can tap children's natural curiosity to facilitate their science learning by doing it.

Worth will discuss appropriate content and aspects of ideal science classroom environments as well as using science to develop children's literacy and mathematic skills. Part of the Barbara E. (Mound) Hansen lecture series, with support from the Department of Human Development and Family Studies and the Committee on Lectures (funded by GSB).
