ROTC: Tri-Service Change of Command Ceremony
All three of Iowa State's ROTC services will participate in this combined ceremony, a military tradition that represents a formal transfer of responsibility for a unit from one officer to another. The university community is invited.

George Washington Carver Life and Legacy Symposium
Most historians believe Carver was born in 1864, making this year the 150th since his birth. The daylong symposium will celebrate Carver's legacy and discuss how to recruit and retain students who can build on it.
