Youth Program: Caterpillar Club
Join us weekly this winter for our popular Early Childhood Development program featuring stories and creative activities around a nature-based theme. Materials are intended for children ages two to seven years old, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cyclone Club Luncheon
Featured speaker is wrestling head coach Kevin Jackson; emceed by Voice of the Cyclones John Walters. Luncheons are open to the public. An optional lunch, catered by Hy-Vee, is available. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

Ila Haugen is retiring after 40 years of service on campus, including 19 years as budget officer for the Ames Lab.

Undergraduates interested in showcasing their research at the Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 11 can learn about the process.
Reception and talk: "Earth as Art"
A fusion of art and science, the exhibition features stunningly beautiful images of the planet that also provide a platform to teach about satellite imagery and geography. Exhibit curator Brent Yantis will host a gallery talk at 6:30 p.m. The exhibition runs Feb. 2-26 at the Design on Main Gallery.
Woodshop Orientation Workshop
Learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment while creating a tool carrier. Leave class with knowledge of proper machinery usage, and, most importantly, woodshop safety.
Crafty Cocktail Night: All-Natural Body Scrubs
Visit the Gardens after hours for Crafty Cocktails, and create a different recycled or repurposed craft to celebrate environmental stewardship, while you sip on adult beverages in a beautiful setting.

Lecture: Artist-in-Residence Jonathan Castro
"Branding Your Creativity: The Business of Art, Networking, Social Media and Development." Ceramics designer and ISU alumnus Jonathan Castro will visit Iowa State Jan. 30 -Â Feb. 4 as an artist-in-residence for the College of Design and Memorial Union. In this lecture, he will share his journey from student to full-time professional artist and the lessons he's learned on the way.
