Forestry Club: Tree and wreath sale
Students in the forestry club will sell Christmas trees and holiday wreaths. Proceeds support club activities.

Preorders (optional) will be taken through Nov. 23 and may be picked up at sale locations. Sale continues through Dec. 1 in various locations. Proceeds benefit the Horticulture Club, funding club activities, contest expenses and student enrichment.

Mass Design in the Mid-Century
Post World War II was a time of great prosperity and idealism in America, as the middle class grew in numbers and in strength financially. As a suburban lifestyle developed, consumerism sky rocketed. The demand for novelty and a significantly larger consuming population led to uniquely American designs, both good and bad but iconic of mass design in the 1950s to 1960s.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Research workshop: Submitting a Proposal with a Subrecipient
In this session you'll learn practical ways to work with subrecipients (i.e. subcontractors) and collaborators during the proposal preparation and submission process. We'll talk about effective communication strategies and and how to manage timelines so that the process is as smooth and successful as possible.
Research workshop: Working with IACUC or IBC Protocols Using a-tune
The Office for Responsible Research, Office of the Attending Veterinarian and Laboratory Animal Resources are offering software training for researchers who submit IACUC or IBC protocols. Participants will learn how to navigate the new electronic protocol submission system, a-tune. Training topics will include creating and submitting a protocol, and, for animal users of LAR, how to order animals and manage animal records.
