Intermediate Pottery: Lidded Pots and Enclosed Forms
Take your basic throwing skills to the next level by learning to make lids 5 different ways. See appropriate lids and finishing for different shaped vessels, and learn how an enclosed form can be turned into a lidded pot, vase, bowl, and other forms.

Documentary: Saving Brinton
The story of Michael Zahs, an eccentric Iowa collector who uncovered five hours of film from the early 1900s that once belonged to Frank Brinton, one of America's most successful barnstorming moving picture exhibitors. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with film subject Michael Zahs and the filmmakers.

This concert has unfortunately been canceled. Jack Owen Ingram is an American country music artist formerly signed to Big Machine Records, an independent record label. He has released eight studio albums, one extended play, one compilation album, six live albums, and 19 singles.

Presidents Training
President's Training must be taken annually by the chief officer(s) of every student organization. President's Training certification is valid from September 1 to August 31 of each year. If you were a student/campus organization President last year you will have to fulfill the requirement again. It's a recurring, annual expectation.
Electroacoustic Improvisations
Composer and sound artist Scott L. Miller will join saxophonist and Iowa State University faculty member Michael Giles for a one-hour performance of improvisatory electronic chamber music followed by a catered reception. Part of the 2017 Lipa Festival of Electroacoustic and Visual Music.

Banned books included range from "James and the Giant Peach" to "Lady Chatterley's Lover". Permission has been given for ISU students to include their monologues on the subject as well. This production opens on the Friday of National Banned Books Week.

Sun Seeker is one of Music City's freshest new rock bands. It's inspired by 1960s legends like The Band and '90s rockers like Pavement, creating a unique blend of Southern whimsy and fuzzy, melodic rock.
