Research Boot Camp: Responsible Conduct
Faculty, staff, and postdocs who receive funding through NSF or certain NIH grants are invited to a two-day "boot camp" that will satisfy NIH and NSF requirements for training in the Responsible Conduct of Research.

Reopening of Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom
The Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom reopens Thursday, Sept. 7 for the fall 2017 semester. Lunch will be served Tuesday through Friday from 11:50 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. The cost of each meal is $7, and reservations must be made prior to 9 a.m. on the day of service.

Lecture: The World's Most Resilient City
Architect and ISU College of Design Rome Program instructor Tom Rankin will discuss ways in which Rome has, over two millennia, provided examples of sustainable urban design practices, and will highlight innovative public space projects, experiments in urban agriculture, car-free neighborhoods and extreme water conditions to help make Rome's history relevant to designers today.
