Campus conversation
This campus conversation will focus on current events and their impacts on the ISU community. A presentation by ISU police Officer Natasha Greene and Lt. Josh Hale will feature information about hate crimes (Hate Bias 101) and conclude with small group discussions. All are welcome.

Join us in celebrating Rose Frantzen and the 39 portraits included in the Faces of Iowa State exhibition currently on view in the Brunnier Art Museum. These new paintings completed over the past 14 months celebrate the tradition and the impact of portraiture at ISU and show the development of ISU as a story of democracy where the vision, dreams, and actions of individual people play a vital role in how our collective identity is shaped.

Grand opening: Hillside Water-wise Garden
The Hillside Water-wise Garden is the only one of its kind in Iowa for its unique planting method and style. It is a visually stunning garden with a spectacular stone staircase flanked by custom built railings, ADA compliant path, different planting themes and limestone borders. Tours follow the ribbon-cutting event.

Open house: Ames Municipal Airport
The Ames Municipal Airport Modernization project is a multiphased improvement plan that includes a new airport hangar and terminal. The project is a private-public partnership that includes investments by the City of Ames, Iowa State University, the Ames Economic Development Commission, and the Ames business community. A ribbon-cutting and short program will be held at 9:30 a.m.
