VPR Workshop: NEH Regional Application
This workshop will include an overview of the National Endowment for the Humanities and Humanities Iowa programs and special initiatives, and a session devoted to strategies for winning competitive applications and understanding the review process. A limited number of individual appointments with an NEH program officer will be available.

Forum: Intellectual property assignments
ISU officials encourage faculty, professional and scientific staff, postdoctoral scholars and graduate assistants to assign intellectual property rights to the university. At this forum, university counsel Paul Tanaka, research foundation in-house counsel Donna Johns and associate vice president for research Wolfgang Kliemann will answer questions on IP assignments.

Lecture: Andrea's Voice, Silenced by Bulimia
Eating Disorder and Body Image Awareness Week Speaker Andrea Smeltzer died in her sleep at the age of 19 after a one-year struggle with bulimia. Andrea's parents, Tom and Doris Smeltzer, now devote their time to eating disorder prevention through Andrea's Voice Foundation.
