Art Walk: A Whirlwind of Art
Thunderstorms rolling across the prairie and temperatures in the 90s, it must be summertime in Iowa. Join University Museums as we explore the art that captures this tempestuous season. Most of the tour will be conducted inside. Meet at the west entrance (Farm House Lane) of Agronomy Hall.
Fused Glass for Wine Lovers
A quick and fun craft! Make a pair of wine charms or a bottle stopper - both useful tools, but they also make you look just a little more fancy. Choose 1" colored glass rounds that will fit perfectly in the charm and stopper blanks. Use small decorative "confetti" glass to add another splash of color. We will kiln-fire them and they will be ready to pick up in about a week.
