Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
Cyclone Cinema: X-Men Apocalypse
The Student Union Board presents Cyclone Cinema! Showings are FREE in Carver 101 at 7 and 10 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hope to see you there!

Human Sciences Week
A weeklong celebration of the College of Human Sciences will take place Sept. 26-30.
HS Week: Cherry pie sale
Cherry pies will be sold for $2 each. Customers are encouraged to bring their own containers if buying multiples. Any unsold pies will be available for the rest of the week, for purchase, during the Joan Bice Underwood Tearoom's normal meal time, 11:50 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. Payment options include: cash, check, or intramural.
Pizza lunch fundraiser
Join the College of Human Sciences for lunch to help raise money for the United Way of Story County campaign. Get a slice of Jeff's Pizza, a pop and fruit for $3. College T-shirts will be on sale for $10, with proceeds going to the United Way.
HS Week: SHOP pantry
Donate cans all week to the Students Helping Our Peers (SHOP) food pantry.
University Faculty and Staff Awards Ceremony
University-wide awards will be presented to faculty and staff. A reception will follow.
HS Week: Culinary boot camp
ISU Dining and Culinary Science Club is hosting a nutrition and cooking class. Learn how to prepare a healthy meal, how to safely handle foods, and receive tips on nutritional grocery shopping. Limited to 50 students.
