Lunch and Learn: Money Management
A money management workshop for undergraduate and graduate students. The lunch-and-learn includes an introduction to the basics of student loans, the repayment process and how loan borrowing and other financial decisions may affect personal credit. Attendees will be entered into the drawing to win a $2,500 scholarship. Presented by the Student Loan Education Office.

Hands-on Demo: Iowa Geographic Map Server
Today is Earth Observation Day. The Iowa Geographic Map Server, a browser-based website that hosts statewide imagery, is one of the most robust, publicly available, spatial imagery datasets in the country. The presentation will highlight recent innovations to it, including an updated interface and new features and image services.

Open forum: Faculty experience work group
Members of the faculty experience work group will provide a high-level review of results from the COACHE and Campus Climate surveys and solicit ideas for maintaining and improving a positive faculty experience at Iowa State.
Interdepartmental Research Showcase
A showcase of work by interdepartmental graduate students in 24 programs. Verena Paepcke-Hjeltness will lead a workshop on sketchnoting as a way to visually explore one's research interests, followed by an informal poster session. Students can connect with students from other interdepartmental graduate programs. Preregistration is appreciated.
