Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons

Mixed Level Pottery Class with Alice McGary
An introduction to creating functional pottery on the wheel. Start with the building blocks of centering clay and pulling cylinders, and move on to make bowls, mugs, and other forms. Learn how to pull handles, glaze and finishing techniques, and build the skills needed to continue on your own. Open to beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their skills.
Stamped Bar Necklace Workshop w/Terrie Hoefer

First, learn some basic metalsmithing techniques to prepare your sterling silver bar, next use our letter stamp, and then attach it to sterling silver chain with a clasp. Concert: Campanile-Carillon Model
The Campanile-Carillon Model is a 1:5 scale replica of the campanile and a 27-bell carillon that is accessible, functional and portable. This model serves as an extension of the legacy of Iowa State beloved campanile and the carillon. It also serves as a musical instrument and an educational tool.

Mango Soul is a 6-piece band from Ames and Des Moines. They blend elements of funk, jazz, neo-soul and modern R&B

Performance: Cyclone Honor Band Festival
The 48th annual Cyclone Honor Band Festival features two honor bands -- Gold and Cardinal -- and conductors. The Gold Band will have approximately 70 members and the Cardinal Band will have about 100-110 members. This concert will not b livestreamed.
