Performance: The Nutcracker Ballet
This annual Iowa State Center production features choreography by Robert Thomas and Miyoko Kato Thomas of the Dancenter (Ames); over 200 local dancers from surrounding central Iowa communities; and principal dancers performing the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Art Walk: Art and the Agronomist
Efficient, productive, sustainable, and artful? The Agronomy Building is home to the students and faculty studying, researching, and discovering more efficient, productive, and sustainable agriculture practices for Iowa and the world. It is also home to several beautiful works of art. Join University Museums as we explore and discuss the artwork that inhabits the Agronomy Building and how those works of art tie into the mission of the program.
Artful Yoga
This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. This month we will focus on words, how we use them and interpret them. Please arrive early for a discussion on the month's topic beginning at 5:15. The practice will begin at 5:30. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat.
