Research workshop: Working with IACUC Protocols Using a-tune
The Office for Responsible Research, Office of the Attending Veterinarian and Laboratory Animal Resources are offering software training for researchers who submit IACUC or IBC protocols. Participants will learn how to navigate the new electronic protocol submission system, a-tune. Training topics will include creating and submitting a protocol, and, for animal users of LAR, how to order animals and manage animal records.
Workshop: CELT Accessibility Awareness Week: Hands-On Accessibility - Web Accessibility Tools
Participants will work with tools within Canvas to check their course accessibility. Participants will also work with online tools for checking website accessibility.

Homecoming: Family festival
Face painting, inflatables, and a dunk tank will be set up on Central Campus for families to enjoy. Get free food on campus with your Homecoming button, or purchase pizza and a dessert for $2/person.
Student Design Sessions
Landscape Club members will consult with homeowners to give landscape design advice and plant recommendations, and draw rough elevation sketches over the top of photos of a home. Appointments are required.
Homecoming: Yell Like Hell, first cuts
Yell Like Hell is a student-performed skit competition consisting of chants and cheers that demonstrate Iowa State spirit. It is designed to get students more involved on campus and develop Iowa State pride. The final skit is judged on enthusiasm, creativity and school spirit. Each skit represents the theme of Homecoming 2018, "This Is State" and the Iowa State Fight Song.

Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie Williams, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.
