CEAH Fellowship: Interdisciplinary Humanities Research
An informal roundtable discussion, led by CEAH fellow Matthew Sivils, for those interested in pursuing interdisciplinary research in the humanities. Knowledge rarely confines itself to disciplinary boundaries. Humanities scholars increasingly find it productive to engage in studies that transcend the borders of convention.

Reception: Biorenewables Art Competition
This 6th annual competition is a collaboration between the Bioeconomy Institute and the Integrated Studio Arts program in the College of Design. Award winners will be announced during a short 4:15 p.m. program.

CEAH Fellowship: Imagining the Prairie, Then and Now
CEAH fellow Matthew Sivils will discuss how the prairie landscape functioned as a challenge to European-American conceptions of the land, while becoming a defining emblem of the American experience. Following the presentation, University Museums assistant curator Adrienne Gennett will provide a tour of Iowa artist Ellen Wagener's landscapes exhibit.
