Regents: Special meeting on TIER cases
The Board of Regents will hear presentations on eight efficiencies or "business cases" proposed for possible implementation at the state universities. The business cases, in the areas of information technology, human resources, finance and facilities, are part of the regent's Transparent, Inclusive Efficiency Review (TIER).
Cyclone Club Luncheon
Cyclone Club luncheons are open to the public. The program, led by John Walters, features a different coach each month. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Cost of admission includes a catered lunch and door prizes.

P&S Council meetings are open to the public.
Exhibit reception: "Before and After: BPMI Alumni Exhibition"
The exhibit features 2- and 3-dimensional traditional and digital medical and scientific illustration and fine artwork--drawing, painting, illustration, animation, photography, prosthetic, sculpture, interactive, etc., by currently enrolled BPMI students and alumni of the program. The reception precedes a 7:30 p.m. keynote address. Part of the biological/pre-medical illustration program's 30th anniversary celebration.

Retirement reception: Labh and Tahira Hira
Join us in honoring Labh and Tahira Hira for their more than 30 years of service to ISU. Labh served as College of Business dean after years on the accounting faculty. Tahira retires as the senior policy adviser to President Leath and as a distinguished academic in areas of personal finance and financial literacy. The program will begin at 9:30. Hosted by the Colleges of Business and Human Sciences along with the President's Office.
Retirement reception: Al Murdoch
Al Murdoch retired from coaching Cyclone Hockey last November after 43 years as head coach. A program will begin at 4 p.m. RSVPs requested by Oct. 3.
Artist Talk and Reception: Back to Square One with C. Arthur Croyle
Artist talk at 6 p.m. followed by reception until 8 p.m. for exhibition of paintings and assemblages by C. Arthur Croyle, associate professor of integrated studio arts. The show will run through Oct. 24.
