RESCHEDULED: Spring Ag Career Day
The spring ag career day has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 3, due to weather. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union.

Informational session: APHIS permits
Steve Ziegenfuss, a biosafety officer in ISU's department of environmental health and safety, will discuss situations when investigators must obtain APHIS (USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) permits and how to apply for them. Public Forum on sports complex
ISU officials will discuss the latest plan for a new outdoor sports complex in the vicinity of the Towers residence halls. Discussion will focus on a revised site plan developed in response to concerns expressed by neighbors in the area.

Workshop: ISU ADVANCE
"Pathways to Promotions from Associate to Full." Dr. Annette O'Connor, associate professor in the department of veterinary diagnostic and production animal medicine and 2009-10 ISU ADVANCE faculty fellow, will share the results of her research on the roles of scholarship and service in faculty promotion at Iowa State. Faculty who may prepare dossiers for promotion to full professor especially are encouraged to attend.

Public Forum on NCAA Certification
The public is invited to hear about the self-study of the university athletics program and offer comments. The study is part of the NCAA Division I certification process; athletics programs must be re-certified every 10 years.
