The Faculty Senate represents the general faculty of Iowa State University and participates in shared governance of the University with the administration. Senate meetings are open to the public.

David Carius, a candidate for a Master of Arts in environmental graphic design, will present his projection-based installation exploring issues related to Iowa's drinking water quality.

Dr. Tom Johnson, director of hospital operations at the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center, is retiring. A short program will begin a 4:15 p.m. RSVP by April 11.
Reception: Public Art Unveiling
Join University Museums for the Curators Associates Reception at Morrill Hall where we will celebrate the installation of one of the newest additions to the permanent collection, Karen LaMonte's Nocturne 5. The large scale cast glass human form draped in a meticulously arranged textile was created through a painstaking process that exemplifies the translucent beauty of sculptural glass.

Reception: Biorenewables Art Competition
This 9th annual competition is a collaboration between the Bioeconomy Institute and the College of Design's integrated studio arts program. Award winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m.

Open house and pancake breakfast
Annual fly-in breakfast hosted by the ISU Flying Cyclones Club. Pancake breakfast is $10 for adults; $6 for kids (12 and younger). Enjoy displays and visit with members of ISU aviation clubs and organizations and other local aviation groups. Airplane rides are available at additional cost.
