Workshop, Negotiating for Success: Strategies, Tools and Skills for Faculty
This workshop will share simple but effective negotiation skills participants can use in their professional and personal lives to persuade, enrich and maximize their potential. Negotiation and conflict resolution don't have to be "avoidable" aspects of our lives. Light refreshments will be served. Registration requested.

Workshop: Marketing Your Study Abroad Experience
Students will learn how to format international experiences on a resume and incorporate study abroad into behavioral-based interview questions. Gold Star Hall Ceremony
This important ceremony honors our Iowa State students who made the ultimate sacrifice fighting for the freedoms we enjoy. Their names are carved into the limestone walls of Gold Star Hall in the Memorial Union so that we may both remember and honor their service to our country, which merits our deep respect.

Retirement reception: Joyce Russell
Joyce Russell, statehouse correspondent and producer, is retiring after 30 years of service to WOI Radio and Iowa Public Radio. A program will begin at 5 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring a story to share or send comments to be included in a gift. No RSVP is required for the event.
