RISE Poster and Lecture Day
The faculty, staff, and students of the Research Institute for Studies in Education (RISE) proudly present the 2009 RISE Poster and Lecture Day, Oct. 1, 2009 in the Alumni Center - Reimann Ballroom, south, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Featured guest speaker is ISU President Gregory Geoffroy.

Reiman Gardens: Iowa Bonsai Society Annual Exhibit
Reiman Gardens will again transform into a bit of a Japanese paradise as it hosts the Annual Iowa Fall Bonsai Show. The show uses bonsai material solely from Iowa Bonsai Association (IBA) member collections.

Applications due Oct. 2. Open to all interested musical groups (one member must be ISU student). Three bands selected to compete. Grand prize awarded based on audience response and performance ability.

Serving country-style ribs, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, veggie trays, chips, cookies and beverages. Rain location: Union Drive Marketplace and Linden dining center.
