"Little Dresses for Africa" Work Day
Simple dresses made out of pillow cases provide relief and hope for the children of Africa. We will provide the supplies, but can use the hands of volunteers to assist with making the dresses. From cutting fabric and ironing to sewing, there is a place for anyone that has an hour or two to spare. Drop in our community studio to help another community of children in the orphanages of Central Africa.

All Horticulture Field Day
Tours will be lead by horticulture faculty, graduate students and specialists who will share their knowledge and answer questions. Topics of interest include ornamental trees; sustainable landscapes; herbaceous, perennials and annuals; vegetable crops, high tunnel production; organic fruit and vegetable production; water and wetland management; trade show demonstrations; and Farmers Market. Lunch will be prepared from locally grown foods.

CyRide Hybrid Bus Dedication Event
Please join CyRide in celebrating its most recent step toward increased sustainability with twelve, new hybrid transit buses. The event will include a dedication ceremony, a ride on one of the new hybrid buses, and ice cream sandwiches.
