Opera: The Magic Flute
A handsome prince, the Queen of the Night and her beautiful daughter, a man in a bird costume who is looking for a wife, a magic flute which has the power to change sorrow into joy, and arias that are some of the most difficult to sing in all of opera combine to create an evening of beauty, comedy, love, and a happy-ever-after conclusion. The Magic Flute is currently the third most frequently performed opera in the world. Sung in English.
Comedy: Bill Maher
This brilliant commentator broke the television boundaries of political humor and stretches those limits in an evening of side-spitting comedy.
Live Music: Family of the Year with Kaleo
Formed in 2009, Family Of The Year - Joe Keefe, Sebastian Keefe, James Buckey & Christina Schroeter - has accomplished a healthy dose of success in such a short amount of time. After years of "cohabitating" in a run-down house and relying on each other for inspiration and support, the members of the Los Angeles outfit have formed unbreakable bonds that are undeniable in their infectious live performances and prolific songwriting.
