A Day Without Art
AIDS continues to inflict a heavy toll in every community, and we continue to remember friends and loved ones on December 1 by shrouding selections from the Art on Campus Collection. A Day Without Art reminds us to vow an end to AIDS.
Art Mart: Annual Art Sale
The Workspace will be hosting Art Mart, the annual arts and crafts sale at the Iowa State Memorial Union. The sale will be held in the Maintenance Shop near the West entrance of the MU on Tuesday, December 1 from noon - 5pm and Wednesday, December 2 from 11am - 7pm.

A national tour of the classic musical, Wizard of Oz comes to Ames as part of the Iowa State Center's Performing Arts Series at Stephens Auditorium.

Matthew Coley is a marimba, percussion and dulcimer artist. He is currently on faculty at Iowa State University.

The classic holiday fairy tale, The Nutcracker Ballet, makes its 29th annual appearance at Stephens Auditorium. The Iowa State Center production features choreography by Robert Thomas and Miyoko Kato Thomas of the Dancenter (Ames); over 200 local dancers from surrounding central Iowa communities; and principal dancers Rachel Vickrey and Avram Gold from the Omaha Ballet Theater appearing as the Sugar Plum Fairy her Cavalier.
