Final day of Hot and Cool Contemporary Studio Glass Sculture
This is the final day of this exhibition. The sculptures in this exhibition will present the creative processes of glass sculpting and also explore the individual artistic expressions of today's most accomplished artists, who express themselves in the media of glass.

SUB Music: Frontier Ruckus w/Buxton
Since 2008, Frontier Ruckus has been creating beautiful, delicate, and sometimes haunting songs. The band has been featured by numerous notable sources including Paste Magazine, NPR Music, and Rolling Stone. Their two albums The Orion Songbook (2008) and Deadmalls and Nightfalls (2010) both received acclaim from critics and fans alike. Currently Frontier Ruckus is touring extensively and writing songs for their next album.

Exhibit opening: Cabinet of Curiosities
This is the first day of this exhibition, it runs until December 14. Cabinet of Curiosities juxtaposes objects from the teaching and art collections across campus with each other to convey key curatorial ideas and relationships. In this exhibition, objects of both culture and nature amassed over Iowa State's 150 plus year history are presented in an exhibition style that reflects the early collector's presentation of objects.
Exhibit opening: Post-Pop Redux

Performance: The Yellow Rose of Suffrage
"Yellow Rose of Suffrage," a one-woman play performed by Jane Cox, professor and director of ISU Theatre. For Women's Equality Day and in honor of the Carrie Chapman Catt Center's 20th anniversary, Cox will perform her one-woman play.

Hailing from Joplin, Missouri, The Ben Miller Band is a one-of-a kind trio that combines the frenetic energy of bluegrass, the soul of the delta blues and the haunted spirit of Appalachian mountain music. Band members Ben Miller, Scott Leeper, and Doug Dicharry create a unique and modern sound while continuing the tradition of blending together many different musical styles, which has long been a trait of their native Ozarks.
