ISU Theatre production of "Hedda Gabler"
Hedda Gabler is a strong and complicated woman with energy that is both attractive and destructive. She chooses to marry a kind, bumbling academic, but even on her honeymoon she feels trapped in a world for which she feels only contempt. What are her chances for a fulfilling life unless she has courage as well as passion? One of Ibsen's most famous masterpieces.
ISU Collage of Choirs
Each year well over 300 students take part in the ISU Collage of Choirs. Participants represent nearly all academic disciplines and majors.
Tango Practica
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better.

Watercolors in the Garden: The figure in the landscape
Join Jo Myers-Walker of the Left Bank Studio in Gilbert, Iowa, as she teaches a series of 10 classes on watercolors while being inspired by the surrounding gardens. Classes will focus on the figure in the landscape taking inspiration from tree and bonsai. Participants will showcase their art during the Bonsai Show on Oct. 8. All skill levels welcome. Tuesday Tea: Victorian Sexuality
Come to the Farm House Museum to enjoy tea and conversation about all things Farm House. Mark your calendar from noon-1 p.m. and enjoy the 150 year old structure in a whole new way. Check the University Museums website to learn what the discussion topic will be. Can't make it at noon? The Farm House will be serving tea from 12 to 4 pm on Tuesdays so stop in any time. An Indian Love Affair
Cindy Gould, associate professor of integrated studio arts, will share a slide-illustrated presentation on "An Indian Love Affair" focusing on her research into the diverse textile traditions of India. "Tana-Bana," an exhibition of textiles from India, is on view from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through Dec. 9 at the Mary Alice Gallery, Textiles and Clothing Museum, 1015 Morrill Hall.
