Carillon Concert: Let Freedom Ring
A carillon concert in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., performed by Tin-Shi Tam, the university carilloneur and Charles T. and Ivadelle Cobb Cownie Professor of Music. The program includes hymns, spirituals and music inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Curator's Tour of "THE ART OF ELIZABETH CATLETT: From the Collection of Samella Lewis"
Brunnier Art Museum curator Adrienne Gennett will tour the exhibition with a discussion on the history of Catlett, the important themes addressed throughout her artistic career, and how she inspired artist and collector Samella Lewis.
Argentine Tango Drop-In Lessons
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

Fused Glass Tile Workshop w/Rhonda Scott & John Burright
Discover the art of fusing glass with Rhonda Scott! Learn the fundamentals of glass cutting, shaping, and placement of glass using a hand-held glass cutter while creating a 4" x 5" tile. By the second class your tiles will be fired and John will help you make a display stand in the Woodshop made from beautiful hardwood with a spot for a tealight.

Handbuilding with Surface Decoration Class w/Valerie Williams
Handbuilding pottery doesn't just mean pinch pots! Learn to use our slab roller to create sheets of clay that can be assembled, manipulated, and built into decorative or functional ware. Explore pattern and texture through sgraffito, carving, sprigging, stamping, and underglazing your pottery, and experiment with new ways to build a narrative in your artwork. All skill levels, including beginners, are welcome!

Level II Wheel Pottery Class with Greg Lamont
If you have taken a beginning pottery class or have the basic skills to throw on the wheel, this class is for you! The first few classes will include demonstrations of new forms and techniques and a session dedicated to better glazing. The last 3 weeks will have lessons based on requests from students. There will be time for practicing in class and for individual questions throughout the course.
Woodshop Orientation with John Burright
Learn the fundamentals of our woodworking equipment and which tool to choose for the job at hand. Practice using the machinery while making a a key rack and shelf you can take home with you after class. Safety is a Workspace priority, so the orientation is required to use the woodshop on your own.

Mixed Level Pottery Class with Alice McGary
An introduction to creating functional pottery on the wheel. Start with the building blocks of centering clay and pulling cylinders, and move on to make bowls, mugs, and other forms. Learn how to pull handles, glaze and finishing techniques, and build the skills needed to continue on your own. Open to beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their skills.
Stamped Bar Necklace Workshop w/Terrie Hoefer
Use your word for the year, one that serves as a reminder, or a fun message for others to see on a bar necklace. First, learn some basic metalsmithing techniques to prepare your sterling silver bar, next use our letter stamp, and then attach it to sterling silver chain with a clasp. Each one is unique to the maker!
