Women's Studies Brown Bag Series
"Children in Armed Conflict: Transformative Ritual as Peacebuilding," Ashley Schmuecker, senior in religious studies. This session will look at children's ritual in healing, trauma therapy and the child solider community reintegration thus establishing a foundational understanding of how ritual is used with orphaned or vulnerable children (OVC) in armed conflict.
