Lecture: Day of Remembrance
Remembering the signing of the Executive Order 9066 and the forced incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II. Grace Amemiya is an Ames resident who will talk about her personal experiences as a former internee. Phil Tajitsu Nash is a civil rights attorney and professor of Asian American Studies at the University of Maryland who worked on the reparations movement.
