Dark will share the results of a Purdue study that found that the best way to get students interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines at an early age may be to focus less on textbooks and more on interactive, problem-solving design projects.

Rose Festival and Iowa Rose Society Annual Rose Show
Come to Reiman Gardens' annual Rose Festival to purchase and learn about roses, participate in discovery stations, listen to music, and take part in demonstrations. Upon completion of judging, the Iowa Rose Society Annual Rose Show will open to the public.
