Argentine Tango Practica
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5 - 7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

A Translation of the Bhagavad Gita
Mani Rao will present her translation of the "Bhagavad Gita," an ancient philosophical text central to modern Hinduism. The author of eight books of poetry, Mani Rao has twice been a visiting fellow at the Iowa International Writing Program and was the 2006 University of Iowa International Program's writer-in-residence.

SUB Music: The Greencards
Since 2002, The Greencards have been plucking strings and singing their hearts out for audiences all over the nation. The band has received widespread praise and numerous awards including in 2008 and 2010 when they were nominated for Grammy Awards for "Best Country Instrumental". The band also received "Best New and Emerging Artist" at the Americana Awards in 2006.
