"Create Peace" for 11 Days of Global Unity
For the fifth year, Ames will participate in the 11 Days of Global Unity, a program launched in 2004 as a promotion of peace, justice and environmental sustainability. It seeks to inspire, inform and involve humanity in helping to create a world that works for all.
Engineering Study and Work Abroad Fair
"Tour The World." Information booths for more than 30 international programs will be represented by faculty coordinators and students to promote international opportunities for engineering students.
Glass Beads
Learn the process of sculpting glass rods by heating and melting the glass in the flame of a gas-powered torch. After practice, your lampworking skills will allow you to create pieces with detail and complexity that you can use in jewelry or other decorative ways.
Ballroom dance class
Intermediate American ballroom classes meet once weekly for 11 weeks. Previous ballroom dance experience is required, but no partner is needed.
Open Mic Night
Sign up is at 7 p.m. Performances at 8 p.m. All talents and guests welcome!
Beginning ballroom dance class
Beginning social ballroom dance lessons, hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Class meets once weekly for 11 weeks. No partner required.
