Argentine Tango Lessons
Valerie Williams This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with different partners for practice. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

A little horticulture therapy is good for the soul and mother earth. Paint a wood block that will hold glass vials for starter plants. Choose 3 cuttings from our plant lady's stash to start your journey with flora. Drop in anytime Monday-Friday 2-9pm or Saturday 10am-4pm daily through September 14. Sugar Skulls Craft for Latinx Heritage Month
Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday that celebrates and honors those who have passed. One tradition includes building ofrendas (altars) honoring the deceased using brightly colored skulls, marigolds, and possessions of the departed. Instead of sugar, our skulls are paper mache, but we invite you to decorate them in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos using paint, glitter.

Wheel Pottery Class
An introduction to creating functional pottery on the wheel. Start with the building blocks of centering clay and pulling cylinders, and move on to make bowls, mugs, and other forms. Class meets Thursdays from 6-8:30pm for 8 weeks with instructor Greg Lamont.

Macrame Air Plant Globe Workshop
Create a lovely hanging planter with an amber glass globe and cream cord. Learn basic macrame knotting that you can use on future projects, and pull together your project with sand, rocks, shells, and a Tillandsia air plant.
