Argentine Tango Lessons
Valerie Williams This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with different partners for practice. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Afternoon Wheel Pottery Class
An introduction to creating functional pottery on the wheel. Start with the building blocks of centering clay and pulling cylinders, and move on to make bowls, mugs, and other forms. Class meets Tuesdays from 2:30-5:30pm for 6 weeks with instructor Valerie Williams.
Metalsmithing Jewelry Class
Begin your exploration of jewelry-making by learning techniques such as sawing, drilling, forming, chasing, annealing, and riveting. Class meets Tuesdays from 6:30-9pm for 4 weeks with instructor Terrie Hoefer.

Woodshop Orientation
Learn the fundamentals of woodworking equipment while creating a tool carrier. Leave class with knowledge of proper machinery use, and, most importantly, woodshop safety. The orientation is required in order to use the woodshop on your own.
Glass Beads Class
Learn to create colorful beads by heating and shaping glass with a torch - yes, we get to work with fire! Build your skills with step-by-step instruction and see how the quality of your beads evolves. Use these beauties in your next jewelry project, or display them as tiny works of art. Meets Wednesdays from 6-8:30pm for 4 weeks with instructor Rhonda Scott.

Indigo-Dyed Boro Scarf Class
Learn two fiber art processes to create a contemporary "distressed" scarf! Sarah Cady will teach Shibori, one of the earliest Japanese tie-dyeing techniques, which will create patterns on fabric with natural indigo dye. Weeks two and three are with Judy Lemish where you will piece together you dyed fabric with other upcycled cotton textiles.
