Sentinel Plant Network First Detector Training
Reiman Gardens' staff will take you through the steps to become a certified First Detector, in the ever-increasing effort to detect and diagnose "high-consequence" pests and pathogens, such as the emerald ash borer and the Asian long-horned beetle.

Insect Hotel Workshop
Build a small insect hotel with all materials provided. Based on a willow frame, you will fill it with various natural materials such as sticks, stones and layered bark to create dark private spaces insects find attractive.
Youth Program: Medallion Quilt Blocks for Kids
Bring in some fun fabric, and learn how to form medallion quilt blocks from mirror images. The fusible applique technique will be used to create an 18" square medallion quilt block that can then be used to make a pillow, wall hanging, or included in a larger quilt.
