Lecture: The Future of the Past in America's Legacy Cities
Stephanie Ryberg-Webster, a national expert on urban development and historic preservation, will talk about the intersections of historic preservation and urban development in legacy cities - older industrial cities that have experienced sustained job and population loss over the past several decades. Part of the Contemporary Issues in Planning and Design Lecture Series.
Lecture: What Am I Doing? Defining the Future of Design
John Pobojewski is a principal designer at Thirst, a communication design practice in Chicago, and an intermedia artist who blends movement, print, sound, video and generative art. His lecture is co-sponsored by the ISU Department of Graphic Design and Ames graphic design firm Measure.
