Youth Program: Caterpillar Club
Please join us for winter storytelling twice per month, from October to March. Each gathering features a theme as we read aloud two or three books, and wrap up with related cooperative activities and crafts great for groups and individuals alike.
Cyclone Club Luncheon
Featured speaker is football head coach Matt Campbell; emceed by Voice of the Cyclones John Walters. Luncheons are open to the public, with an opportunity to ask questions, meet Iowa State head coaches and win prize drawings. An optional lunch, catered by Hy-Vee, is available. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

A four-week program on Thursdays October 6, October 13, October 20, and October 27 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Create drawings from suggested imagery in dry media such as chalk pastels, charcoal, and graphite, with expressive therapies instructor Camilla Kottman.

A simple neutral-colored mat will finish your artwork and look as clean and classic in twenty years as it does now. Learn to size mats, cut straight and beveled edges, and hinge mount artwork with our handy dandy mat cutter.
Toward a Digital Design Practice of Landscape Architecture

Grant Wood's Murals: Inspiration for the Common Threads III Exhibition
Join Nancy Gebhart, University Museums visual literacy and learning educator, for a gallery talk on the Parks Library's Grant Wood murals "When Tillage Begins" and "Other Arts Follow," which served as inspiration for the work in the "Common Threads III" exhibition on display in the College of Design's Design on Main Gallery in downtown Ames.
Lecture: A Conversation with Black Alumni
"How We Got Here: Challenges & Achievements" - African American alums will have an honest discussion about the challenges they faced at Iowa State as well as describe the support they received and the sense of community they were able to develop that led to their achievements on campus and in their careers.
