Guest panelist Craig Vogel from the University of Cincinnati will join faculty from the Colleges of Design, Engineering and Business to discuss the development of a product or industrial design program at Iowa State.

Dreamweaver -- Level IV: Projects

"The World Is Neither Flat nor Round: The Power of Research Paradigms," Gloria Ladson-Billings, ISU Helen LeBaron Hilton Chair in Human Sciences. She will address issues of diversity education, particularly the challenges that scholars of color face as they attempt to represent diverse and alternative perspectives in education. A reception follows at 7:30 p.m. in the MU Multicultural Center.

Panel: Darwin and Me
ISU professors and graduate students from both the sciences and humanities and a variety of faiths. The audience is invited to join the discussion with the goal of encouraging mutual understanding between scientists, non-scientists and people of different faiths. We also hope to challenge the idea that evolution contradicts religion. Enjoy free birthday cake and primordial punch.
