Iowa Museum Week June 11-17
On June 7th Iowa Governor Terry Branstad will proclaim June 11-17, 2012 as Iowa Museum Week. During this week, Iowa's museums, including ISU's University Museums, will raise awareness of their programs and celebrate what makes them unique community assets. Iowa's ninety-nine counties are home to hundreds of museums as well as to major regional collections.

Game Day at the Brunnier
Release your inner child on Sundays throughout the summer by playing board games at the museum. Board games will range in age and be available in addition to puzzles and card decks. Game Day's will continue throughout the summer on Sundays without programs.
Soap Making 101
Make quality, handmade soap from scratch. Learn step-by-step process - from the selection of oils and fragrances and calculating lye amounts to picking out equipment. Lye safety will emphasized (there are no pre-made synthetic bases in this class.)

Discovery Station: ISU Industrial Design Projects
ISU Industrial Design Projects: Creative Challenge. The discovery stations are family oriented and designed so both youth and adults can participate in the activities.
4th annual College Creek cleanup
Small groups of volunteers will walk through designated sections of the creek along the banks and pick up trash. No time limit is required; all help is appreciated. Volunteers should register online and check in at tables in the Forker Building parking lot.
