Last day to change a second half-semester course from Pass/Not Pass to grade basis without it counting toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.

Last day to drop a second half-semester course without the drop appearing on the permanent record or counting toward the limit of dropped courses.

Last day to process most schedule changes for a second half-semester course without a schedule change fee or to add/drop a second half-semester course without signatures of instructor and adviser. Training: "How to Write a P&S Position Description"
University human resources is offering training on "How to Write a Professional and Scientific Position Description" in conjunction with the new PeopleAdmin 7 system training. Anyone who writes or assists with writing position descriptions is encouraged to attend. Training is offered weekly beginning Aug. 26 through Nov. 24. To register, go to AccessPlus (Employee tab > UHR Training) and choose the class you wish to attend.
Workshop: Advising and the Completion Agenda
Higher education associations and national agencies are promoting President Obama's goal to increase the number of students who complete degrees, certificates, and other credentials by 2020. These associations and funding agencies are supporting institutions that promote degree completion. These efforts are not restricted to the United States but are part of the international higher education picture as well.

Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. The first show, starting at 6:30 p.m. will be 20 minutes and for kids. Shows at 7 and 7:30 p.m. and are suitable for all ages. Tickets will be available at the door starting at 6:15 p.m. Seating is limited. Weather permitting there will be an outdoor observing session after the last show.

He eventually returned to music with the 2012 release of Forget the Storm, which hit #2 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums
