Memorial Day ceremony
Iowa State employees, retirees, spouses, alumni and friends who died during the past year will be remembered at the university's annual Memorial Day ceremony.

A four week class on Mondays, May 30, June 6, June 13, and June 20 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. This photography class with professional photographer Mark Stoltenberg is a collection of "how to" recipes, and features a wide range of topics including how to shoot fireworks, foggy days, vacations, indoor and outdoor sports, and more.

A Walk on the Wild Side
Catch the last tour of Gwynn Murrill's animal sculptures in the Elizabeth and Byron Anderson Sculpture Garden to discuss her career as an artist, her unique style and the comparison of Murrill's artwork to other sculptures in the garden. The exhibition, "A Walk on the Wild Side," will be removed and returned to the artist in July, making room for a new temporary public art installation, a hallmark of the mission of the sculpture garden.

Abstract People Hand Built Sculptures
Create abstract people in clay with artist and instructor Diane O'Hern. Add butterflies to your piece to tell a story! Then using the basic shapes, let's look at the work of famous artist Henry Moore and create action figures enjoying the Gardens or figures reclining in the landscape. A make and take art project for children through adults. Preregistration with prepayment is required.
