A barrier in many courses is getting students to see personal relevance in the course material. The session will describe how customized video-based modules and engaging application assignments have been integrated through Blackboard to create a more personalized learning environment for students enrolled in an online fitness education course (KIN 210 - Concepts of Fitness and Wellness).

Research Open Forum
Sarah Nusser, vice president for research, is seeking campus input and suggestions for improving research support. Researchers and staff are invited to provide feedback and share ideas. The first set of these open forum meetings for research faculty and staff will focus on pre- and post-award processes.
