Fall convocation and awards ceremony: College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
Dean Beate Schmittmann will address the state of the college, college and university award recipients will be recognized, and new faculty will be introduced. A reception follows at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Reception: SEASONS of Iowa State book signing
Produced by the ISU Alumni Association, a new 128-page hard-bound book, SEASONS of Iowa State University, captures the four seasons on campus. In addition to photography by Jim Heemstra, SEASONS contains Iowa State history, art, architecture, landscape, and environment. The event includes book signing, hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. Attendees can register to win a free book and print.
