Alumni Days 2013 will celebrate Iowa State's 50-year reunion class of 1963. Events continue through Saturday morning.
Neurobiology Symposium
The event underscores the important link between basic academic research and real-world medical application, which embodies the core values of the University's new Health Research Initiative. This symposium will be of interest to veterinary doctoral students, pre-med majors, and students with neuroscience/neurobiology emphases. Nissen Symposium: Proteins in Human Health and Performance
The world's leading experts in the use of protein nutrition to build and maintain muscle are gathering to honor ISU Professor Steven Nissen. The program is open to the ISU community, registered dietitians, personal trainers and other health professionals. Register online.
Plant Pals
Join us and cultivate a garden at Reiman Gardens. We are going to grow huge vegetables like giant pumpkins, tomatoes and sunflowers, as well as beautiful flowers.
Retirement reception: Cheryll Reitmeier
Cheryll Reitmeier, professor of food science and human nutrition, is retiring after 31 years of service to Iowa State. A presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m.
